The lonely Boxer dog: Graham Dobson, of Hull, was driving to work when he noticed a forlorn and fearful dog attached to a light along the highway.
He fed the dog while waiting for his owner to come and fetch him.
Sad to say, the cruel owner did not come back for several hours, leaving the unhappy dog behind.
So Dobson called the dog warden to come and get him.

The unhappy dog looked to be waiting for his family to return, but deep down, he understood he had been abandoned and had no idea why.
Dobson can only hope that he will be given the permanent home he deserves.
“It was heartbreaking to see how distressed he was because he was such a nice, friendly dog.”
He was terrified.
I’m not sure why somebody would just leave a dog.
“I love animals and would never want to see them abandoned or harmed,” Dobson explained.

The boxer is currently being cared for by Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue.
They’ve given him the name Max and are looking for a good home for him.

“Max is doing incredibly well and has gone to remain with a trained and experienced residential care, where the family is aiding us to examine and care for him,” the rescue said.
“As you might anticipate, we have had a tremendous amount of interest and applications for Max, but we believe it is best to focus on his care and further examine his needs for the time being.”

Max is now receiving attention, and he will soon find a permanent home.
We pray he is never neglected or mistreated again.
